Putting this together I tried to work with the limitations of having a small budget and find ways to make them work to my advantage. I took what would normally be disadvantages and made them part of the aesthetic. This is how I ended up using fireworks. I wanted something that would be interesting but I could take advantage of for lighting as well. I used car lights bounced off boards, whatever I could get my hands on.

This worked perfectly because we were going for an improvised feel. The entire shoot was about setting up situations and let everyone have fun. All the talent were friends so there was great chemistry.
