Recently I have been mostly concerned with creating pieces of work that are very character driven. My work has always involved singular iconic characters, but I am attempting to push this further and develop a deeper world for my characters to inhabit. To support this effort I have paid special attention to the clothing and accessories of my characters. Through this I hope to convey a stronger sense of that characters personality and develop a deeper sense of their mood. Some strong influencing factors on this current body of work are fashion photography, antique decorative frames and femme fatales.
